This is not really a detail it just shows what you can do if you follow the correct washing & drying procedures preached here on MOL.
This is my wife's 2008 Vue that she bought in August 2008. It had the paint protectant applied which we did not pay for since we did not want it. My wife said I could clean it but could not wax it for at least 6 months. This car 1 1/2years old and has 15,000 miles on it and has never been clayed or waxed. All I have done to it is wash w/nxt or GC and wiped it down with either UQD or UQW. It has no swirls and is still smooth as glass. I am amazed at how the water beads on it and how it looks. It beads water as good if not better than my Lucerne and I wax it every 2-3 months and clay it when needed as well as use 205 or whatever I have to to remove the swirls.
Here are some pictures of the 2008 Vue and my 2007 Lucerne
Thanks for looking.
