  • UK Newbie - Very impressed!

    Morning All

I have to say how impressed I am with Megs products. I've never been a great fanatic about cleaning my car until I saw this:

I spoke to Dave the owner who introduced me to John @ http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk and now I'm addicted!

I love the gold class wash, clay bar and the trim detailer. The car was covered in tree sap when I went to see John and I was amazed when he demo'd the clay bar. I used it on part of my bonnet as a trial and the paint is so smooth. All I've got to do now is do the rest of the car and wax it!

No doubt you'll be seeing more of me and my ride as I progress.

    Cheers

    Paul

PS - I've got a lot to deal with at the moment:

          Thanks for the welcome.

hey Johnny - good to see you on here.

Well I've just started claying the rest of the car and it's gross!

After one round on the bonnet the paint still feels covered in contaminants. Can I simply continue claying until it's smooth?

          Cheers

            Hey,

You should be fine to continue claying as long as you use plenty of claying lube as well as using light pressure. Remember to keep folding the clay to expose a fresh surface every other panel.

            Please keep us posted!

            Cheers!

thanks Tim. Looks like I'm going to get through a whole lot of clay over the xmas holidays!

              Updated photos soon.
