Got a text message from a friend to polish his mum dark blue Ceifro.
It is a 3 year plus ride, never been polish after leaving the showroom.
Washed faithfully by the family maid every week to keep it clean.
My friend had warned me about swirls on the car, I though how bad can it be...I was WRONG!

Upon seeing the car, it has swirls all over it, so many swirls that it can be rename Swirfiro instead. The paint is also dull due to oxidation.
Some after wash pics to show how bad the swirls are.
The roof
Bonnet
Boot
Rear
Even the side mirror is not spared!
As you can see, the whole car is full of swirls and oxidation.
I paused for 10mins to think of a game plan. Decided to try my current fav polish, the Meg 151 with LC orange pad on a rotary.
A test panel was done on the boot and the Meg D151 work well removing most or almost all the swirls and oxidation.
After the rotary, I apply Meg D151 again using a DA machine using Meg polishing pad. The highlight of the Meg D151 is it can be use to cut or polish depending on the pads used.
Steps taken:
Meg D151 with LC Orange pad via rotary
Meg D151 with Meg Polishing pad via DA
Meg NXT 2.0 Wax by hand using Meg foam applicator
Some 50/50 shots
Boot
Bonnet
After hours of polishing, the Swirfiro swirl no more.
Remember the side mirror.
As it was raining outside, I am unable to bring the car out for photoshoot.
End of the day, my fren is very impressed with the ART of polishing.
Hope you like my work.
Cheers
