Brand new 2010 Lexus LS460, the owner just traded in his 2007 LS460 for a new one, I did a writeup on the older one last year . He bought the exact same car but just three years newer: 2007 Lexus LS 460.
The owner and I agreed the dealer prep was unacceptable, there were very minor swirl marks and they applied a really greasy tire dressing that slinged. No paint correction was done, but just freshened things up a little. Will probably correct the paint or at least apply a coat of M20 in the summer.
The owner goes to Florida every winter, so I have not done any of their vehicles since October last year. They usually have me wash/maintain them at least once a month. They also sold the van seen here: 1999 Toyota Sienna.
Heres a few befores:
I washed the wheels, tires, and wheelwells with Deep Crystal Car Wash and various brushes. I then washed the car itself with the new Ultimate Wash and Wax .
I then applied multiple coats of Ultimate Quik Wax, I am pretty sure it bonded well since there was almolst zero contamination on the paint.
Tires and wheelwells were dressed with All Season Dressing. Glass was cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate, doorjambs were wiped clean with #135 - Synthetic Spray Detailer and the interior was given a light vacumm and a wipedown with Quik Interior Detailer.
The engine was given a wipedown with a damp Water Magnet, then dressed with #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.
2010 Lexus RX350, They drove it to Florida and back this winter. Last year I clayed it and waxed it, so all I did was wash it and wax it this time. I did not have to clay since the paint was still smooth as glass. I did the interior but did not take any pictures of that.
After the trip they took it to a local car wash, I must say they swirled up the paint pretty badly since there were barely any swirl marks in the paint when it was in my hands last year. I was still careful when I washed it so I did not induce additional marring.
Not too dirty:
