Hey guys as you can tell i am a reader and not a poster , A guy pulled into my shop well i call it a shop right now till my building gets built. So i figured a post some pics of his ride which i thought the paint was AMAZING and so easy to work with. It is a 53 merk and its pearl white faded into lime green and a pearl pink i assume.

I used a 2 bucket method with the wash and wax followed by a claying then i used m07 and 2 thin coats of 26. As for the tires like the old days i used brillo on the white walls , Like i said i am a reader and not a poster. Enjoy as i did and i got it done in 7 hours as the inside he did the day before so no need for me to touch it

        Nice looking machine.

What is it? A Merk as in Mercedes?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Very cool car!! Love the "one summer night" thing on the spare tire cover.

I'm at school so I didn't get a chance to look the pics yet, but I'm sure it came out great. You're a great detailer Joe.

Here in the Colonies a "Merc" refers to cars from the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company, none of which were regularly sold outside North America if memory serves. Everywhere else in the world "Merc" does indeed refer to cars from Mercedes Benz.
