  • 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Detail Work

The owner of this Tahoe was a response to my detailing business ad on Craigslist. He said he wanted this thing looking amazing, as if it had just come out of the dealership.

Well, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. I worked tirelessly on this Tahoe to make sure that I didn't miss a thing! I had work at my second job later that day, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in Downtown Ft. Worth. By some miracle, however, my boss called me, and told me I was now scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at a closer location. Thus, giving me more time to work on the truck. The good Lord must've wanted me to really finish that Tahoe. Well, 45 mins. before I had to leave, I was done.

    Exterior
Full Pressure Wash w/ NXT Car Wash Solution
    Dry with Water Magnets
Full Clay Bar w/ Quik Detailer as lubricant
    1 round Ultimate Compound
1 coat NXT Tech Wax 2.0

    Rims & Tires
    Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
    GC Endurance Tire Gel

    Interior
GC Rich Leather Cleaner/ Conditioner (spray) for the seats
Ultimate Protectant for dash and door panels
    Full Vacuum and steam clean

Not bad for a 7 year old truck w/ 103K on the clock. Sorry for the lighting guys. I wanted to capture the truck right after I had finished it, and I didn't open the garage door! OOPS!

Yes I even polished up the keys a little bit! =)

    Enjoy the photos everyone!

I know man! The owner left it with me overnight and my mom had stuffed some things on a table in the front of the garage, so I ended up having no room. I've got some better pictures I'll be posting of it here in a bit!

Great work. You are right. The other pics did not show as well. The Tahoe looks very good. Hard to believe it has all those miles on it. Way to go.

                Looks nice.

The only thing I would do is spray some dressing in the wheelwells. The rear ones look a little dry.

I don't have any kind of dressing to speak of, unless you call Exterior Trim Detailer a "dressing". I might hit it with some Deep Crystal Car Wash, agitate it and then after its dry, hit it with some ETD. Thanks for the feedback though. I'm still only a novice compared to some of the other folks on here, but I'm workin on it. =)
