2007 Ford Escape, 93 RX-7 - Exterior details

Wash & wax type details.

Money is money and doing enough of them add up quickly.

2007 Ford Escape, was pretty clean considering it had 82k miles.

I used the following products to prep and detail the vehicle:

Shampoo Plus
Super Soap
Deep Crystal Car Wash
Super Degreaser
Wheel Brightener
All Purpose Cleaner
Body Solvent
Detailing Clay (Mild)
Last Touch Spray Detailer
#66 - Quick Detailer (Cleaner/Wax)
All Season Dressing
Hyper-Dressing
Glass Cleaner Concentrate
Synthetic X - Press Spray Wax
























































This 1993 Mazda RX-7 was in for exterior maintenence after sitting outside for several nights in the rain.

Some of the above process was used, but the hood was polished out with #205 - Ultra Finishing Polish and my PC, then the whole car was sealed with #20 - Polymer Sealant topped with Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax.

















The same client who owns the RX-7 had me clay & seal his 2010 Toyota Venza to get it ready for winter. I used #20 - Polymer Sealant followed by Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax

Very nice. I love those RX-7s.

Y'all have more snow on the ground than we do here in Colorado. I'm jealous.

Very nice job Nick. Amazing what basic wash and waxes can do. Something tells me that's going to be my staple in the spring and summer.

Dont be jealous. The snow puts me out of a lot of work.

Thankfully I have a few clients that call me out in the winter to take care of their fleet of business vehicles.

I washed my car in the garage today, this rain and snow is a pain. I gave her a couple coats of UQW. She'll look nice tonight and tomorrow in the garage, then off to the land of salt on Monday.

Very good Paul. I would hate to see that beautiful red G8 of yours covered in salt and road grime.

In the near future I have some mobile detailing to do where the washing must take place outside. I really hope the water does not freeze in less than a minute or two.

I finally ordered some ONR since the one thing I hate is turning down work.

Interesting combo to follow your #20 sealant with the Synthetic Spray wax. Do you see a visual improvement after the spray wax? What are your other thoughts for doing that?

I would imagine its just offering additional gloss and protection.

I am sure the car would still look great without it.

Gotcha. I was just curious. So far the only place I've used my Synthetic Spray wax is on wheels. Can't really decide what situation will be best suited for it on a customers car.

I have to commend both YOU, for the great work (as usual)... and your Municipal Road Crew! Those roads are clean as a whistle, even tho there is 6" of snow on the ground!

As always, I am blown away by how great you get the rims and tires looking. Can you share a bit more detail regarding the steps you take to acheive these results?

I use different products and techniques depending on the type of tire it is and how dirty it is. It also varies depending on the type of wheel.
