  • 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28 - 77 miles

Not really much of a detail on my part but still wanted post.

One of my clients that I have done work for a couple years now picked up a 1995 Camaro, with only 77 miles.

I believe he paid 24k for it.

I did a basic detail on it before he put it away before the winter.

The thing is brand new and needed almolst nothing done.

Still has a new car smell.

I was in the client's shop going over what each vehicle needed for 2011 as I have done each car, truck, & bike every year since 2009.

Sorry for the crappy pics, it was on the lift and the paint is very dusty.

Just about everything in here is dirty and needs care as they got somewhat driven after last summer.

I have writeups on here of about every single vehicle in here, as well as others that are not.

I had one of those! Any explanation as to why you would buy it and let it sit like that? It's only an LT1 car, not worth too much!

Dont know too much technical info about cars but anything over 15 years old with less than a hundred miles is pretty neat to me.

Man won't the engine/transmission have problems after not driving it for that long? I would love to have a garage like that. It must be nice have a lot of choices to drive everyday.

When you finally get all of them done then you are back to square one. Although they wont need extensive work, they still need to be cared for.

I agree with you to an extent - but some people collect them, just like some of us may have collected baseball cards or something while growing up. Mostly rich people with extra time on their hands...and the need to show the collection off to their acquaintances. Nothing wrong with that. If I were rich, I'd probably do the same thing.

Yup, all kinds of problems when vehicles sit undriven. Seals dry up, hoses rot, tires go bad, fluids go bad, things seize up, etc. The list goes on.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Having owned LT1's and LS1's all I can tell you is that car as far as performance and minor other things probably was the most desirable year as far as options. Though a strong contender was the SS's offered or the VERY rare LT4 optioned Camaros.

That car IMO should be a driver, that OPTI spark needs to be cleared out and in that year was the first to offer a vented OPTI, but you need to run the car!!
