Hey everyone! Im new to the board, and i thought ide show off my S2. I LOVE Meguiars' stuff and i dont use anything else! Ive been showing my car for 2 years now, but i really just enjoy detailing and seeing metallic paint shine. Its relaxing to me.

Thanks. My process is actually pretty simple. I use an orbital buffer for the big panels, and the bumpers and hard to reach places i do by hand.
1. Gold Class Shampoo- (soap once, rinse, soap again and do a final rinse). Dry with microfiber.
2. Medallion Paint Cleaner
3. Deep Crystal Polish (works A LOT better than Meguiars other polishes strangely...)
4. The Porsche gets Gold Class Wax, the GTI gets NXT wax.
Thats really it. The paint feels like silk, and cloth and water slips off the surface like its ice. The Porsche has 68,000 miles, and im the 4th owner. Its also 100% original with no paintwork or anything. The GTI is driven daily through everything you can imagine.Tony

Its the original Cobalt Blue Metallic. It was only offered in 1991 on the 944 and later used on the 968.
They have reoffered Cobalt Blue as of recently, but its not the same shade. Its slightly darker and doesnt change colors. Mine turns purple in direct lightTony
