2011 Range Rover HSE Sport

This truck was ready for its first detail after 5k miles.

It was in pretty good shape but needed some light appearance care.

Before:









Wash/Prep:

Pressure wash.
Tires/wheels/wells degreased with PP 1:1 & Wheel Brightener 4:1.
Bugs soaked with 3D Citrus Bug/Tar Remover.
Foamed/washed with Hyper-Wash.
IronX.
Clay.
Re Wash.

During:







IronX bleeding:

















Interior:

Vacumm.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
Jambs washed with ONR.
Vinyl/leather & plastics treated with Quik Interior Detailer.

After:







Exterior:

Paint & wheels spot treated with Tarminator.
Couple scuffs removed with D300 Correction Compound.
Tires & trim dressed with All Season Dressing.
Wheel wells dressed with Hyper-Dressing 2:1.
LSP was HD POXY.

I really like how the paint came out on this car and interior ... you've been always a Specialist in this department, Nick.

IronX did a fantastic job as well, it was badly needed.

Very nice work Nick.

I am more and more interested in trying that IronX. Well, maybe next year because the temperature will soon get colder up here. Only a handfull of week-ends here and it will be too cool to do my details outside.

I wish it was not so overcast though.

Give the IronX a try, its pricey but it cuts down claying time on paint with fallout & iron particles.

IronX is a chemical cleaner for removing iron particles/industrial fallout embedded in the paint.

Which acronyms would you like me to list?

Dave, it will knock a lot of junk off the paint but it is not a miracle product. It does nothing for tar or overspray. Found that out the other day while detailing a Lincoln Town Car.
