Hello MOL!
Its been a while since I post here, I havent had much time to post lately due to work and then spending time with the family or just going out, but this 2012 I want to be more active in the forums so I will try to get some writeups of some jobs that i have been doing here in Santiago Chile.
Yesterday I did this Navara for a client, it had alot of swirls, water etching and random scratches... lets start with some pixs:

he desaparecido un poco de MOL, pero ahora ya estoy de regreso, este 2012 comenzare a estar mas activo en los foros, basicamente por el tiempo trabajando y despues descansando o saliendo con la familia no me daba mucho tiempo para entrar a los foros y compartir trabajos y preguntas. bueno ayer trabaje esta Nissan Navara para un cliente, como ven tenia bastantes swirls, rayones, y marcas de agua acida, asi que comenzemos con algunas fotos
As you can see theres alot of work to be done, so we had a long day up ahead, we started by some low pressure water rinse to get the dust off and then followed by normal wash via Megs Wash mitt and Hyper Wash,
Como ven teniamos un largo dia de trabajo adelante nuestro, asi que comenzamos con un enjuage mediante agua a baja presion para remover la mugre superficial, despues lavado con guante de microfibra y shampoo PH balanceado.
After a pressure rince, Megs Agressive clay was used to remove contaminants, not much was picked up to my amazement
Despues de un enjuage a presion, Clay Agresivo se uso para remover los contaminantes, para mi sorpresa no tenia mucho
Now we could start true paint inspection, we had alot of damage:

Swirls
and paint measuring for confirmation of repainted panels
y medidas de pintura confirmando lo que a vista se miraba como paneles repintados
Truck was taped with 3m green tape to protect rubber trim from getting stained, and then correccion was started via rotary, m105, and LW pad. no pictures were taken during this step, because I grab my polisher and dont look back
finishing with DA and Microfiber pads, after a 3 step polish, the truck was washed again to remove all the polishing dust and finish all the details.
despues se uso cinta 3m para protejer las gomas de manchas y se comenzo la correccion de pintura mediante rotatoria, 105 y bonete LW, no hay fotos ya que cuando agarro la pulidora no miro hacia atras despues de un pulido de 3 etapas, el vehiculo se lavo para remover restos de polvo y hacer los detalles finales antes de la cera.
wax was applied and engine was cleaned also, while the wax cured, we gave the interior a wipe down before delivery to the owner.
se aplico una capa de mi cera Hybrida, y mientras se secaba
