  • 2005 Dodge Ram - Post Hunting Season

After 12 hours with the PC and by hand, I made some progress in cleaning the truck this weekend. I didn't take great before pics, but the truck was plenty dirty...

I need to learn to take more pics, but when I'm in the groove, I don't stop for much. Also, should have taken pics in the sun...next time

After washing and claying, this is what I had to work with...
Not as bad as last time, but still plenty of work ahead of me.

    Couple of passes of M80...
I probably could have gone with M83, but I really like the M80, so I did a couple of passes with it. Paint isn't perfect in the pic, but I went over it again and it looked better.

Not that bad, but still pretty dirty inside

After seeing this, I still need a little more cleaning, but it came out decent

WeatherTech mats in the back too...

    Now some external pics...

    Can't neglect the roof...

Very nice turn around on the Ram; it looks fantastic once again! We don't see a lot of people using M80 any more for this type of correction, but you're post here is proof that it's still great stuff. We used to use M80 as our go to product in our Saturday Detailing 101 classes before the introduction of Ultimate Compound to the consumer line. It's nice to see there's still some love for M80, and since it helped you get your truck back to this condition it's understandable why you like it so much!

Thank you very much for the compliments Mike! I absolutely love the M80 and it has done wonders for me....I suppose it's my "comfort" product. I will be detailing my wife's car this coming weekend and I will see if I can get my hands on some Ultimate Compound so I can sample it. I have some homework to do on the new line of products. I haven't had to restock in quite some time, so I am behind on what is out there. Thank you again for the kind words!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad to have the DA handy! Arms nearly fell off the first time I tried by hand!
