Scion tC - Hasn't Been Washed For 10 Months (95 photos)

This is what happens when you don't wash a car for over 10 months...lucky I had it for 2 weeks while my friend was away on vacation. I actually did this a few months ago...forgot to post pics...enjoy!

Process was actually simple....

1) Gold Class Wash
2) Detailing Clay
3) Ultimate Compound
4) Gold Class Wash again
5) NXT Wax

All interior was done with Meguiars M40 and NXT Glass Cleaner.

































































Look how nice my car looks outside.....

What a great friend you are! The real question, did he/she really appreciate it? I certainly hope so...but someone that can let their car get to that point, my guess is probably not.

She appreciated it very much! I did it for free too...it was a fun and awesome experience. Nothing feels better than to see these photos before and after.

Woah ! At first, I thought those rims were black or dark grey...
I've seen cars not washed in years that did not look half as bad as this one.

Looks amazing! I can't imagine spilling something in my car and just leaving it! Sadly we are the minority here on meguiarsonline.com.

Thank you...I agree...I detailed a 2006 BMW 335i this weekend...The car was in decent condition. Just your average dirty car. It wasn't an extreme like this tC I did...although it takes A LOT more time to do these types of jobs. it's kinda the only jobs I want to do now...lol

What did you use on the wheels to get rid of the brake dust? That stuff tends to be like glue.

Gold Class Shampoo...lol. The brake dust wasn't as aggressive because it's just a standard brake system. On my Lexus IS F, the pads generate a TON of brake dust. My wheels can look like the Scion tC in a matter of 2 weeks of driving and the dust is super aggressive. If you don't clean it, it starts to eat at the powder coating of the rims.

looks great, nice job turning it around. It really peeves me when people don't take care of their cars. But then that's why we detailers like em, but it still irks me, lol
