My friend came crawling to me (not really but I hope you get the point ) because he wanted to restore the shine to his old Volkswagen GTI. He was not the first owner and got the car off of craigslist for dirt cheap and it was very present in the way it looked, both inside and out.The paint had a shitton of **** on it and it looked terrible. The entire car looked like it was matte black.
Unfortunately I forgot to take some before pictures and I am kicking myself for it
hopefully next time I will remember to take some
BUT! here is the after pictures :P
AND unfortunately I am a n00b and do not know how to post pictures on a thread so I will have to revert to just copying and pasting links to the image
First we washed the car
Then Clayed it
Then it looked like it was about to rain so we quickly applied some UQW
Then it looked like it wasn't going to rain anymore, so we applied some Liquid Lexus Gold wax
Then for $h!+s and giggles we threw some UQD on there... and BOOM you have an almost nearly brand new looking car
I could not have completed this without the help from this forum, I got a lot of knowledge from here. Thanks everyone!
Its not perfect... but it ain't bad either for my first serious detailing project
Please Comment!
