I worked on an Inifiniti this morning. It belonged to this lady that lives down the street. I gave her a great deal on a leather cleaning and conditioning and a carpet shampoo. The steps I took are below. I was wearing gloves the whole time.
Removed floor mats,l vacuumed them and wet them with water.
Sprayed some degreaser on them and a little bit of dawn.
Used a drill brush to work the products in.
Extracted the water and repeated the process until all the oil, grease and stains were removed.
I moved on to the interior of the car and started on the leather.
Sprayed APC+ on the seats a few sections at a time and brushed it in with a soft brush until all the dirt was removed.
Used Meguiar's leather conditioner applied with an applicator pad.
Now I moved on to the carpet.
Vacuumed the interior and misted the carpet with APC+. I worked on one side at a time.
I used a carpet brush, a long brush with a handle and a small brush with a handle.
I wiped up the area with a clean towel.
The lady has allergies and can't stand the smell of chemicals or anything like that so I steamed the carpets with a McCulloch steam cleaner and I also did the floor mats. She was very pleased with the car and now I have a new customer, her husband. I have before and after pictures but they are not of the entire process. I have one with one floor mat I finished and the other two that I hadn't finished yet. I also have some pictures of the leather that are half finished half not. I also took a picture of my drill brush and my extractor. The Bissell auto care with a hose that I modified to 11 feet because it was only 3'10" brand new.
