I didnt mean it in that way bro. I get it that it's ur sis but Im more referring to the fact that she is pretty and that if u even do see a chick detailing most of the time it's not a girly chick. U just don't see that type of girls working on cars. And if u do they're not as talented as ur sis. It's not that I'm being disrespectful. It's just nice to see it. And I'm sure u would think the same way if u were on the other end of the stick seeing it from our view. Maybe It just came out the wrong way. Bottom line is its a breath of fresh air to see a chick working on a car. When u get older u will understand more where I'm coming from.

And we're going to nip this one in the bud right here, right now.

Jarhead, I don't know you at all, but I do know Wills and Dani personally. I also know how difficult it can be to convey exactly what's in your head when communicating on a forum so it's very easy to misconstrue what was said, how it was said, etc. Wills, we understand your initial reaction to Jarhead's comments and we greatly respect you giving your response some serious thought before posting. Jarhead, I'm pretty sure I understand exactly where you're coming from and that you didn't mean any disrespect.

Let's keep this discussion on topic and just move on from these comments, please.

I think u took it the wrong way cuz ur still young. I meant no disrespect by saying ur sis is pretty. What I typed and what's in my head must of just came out wrong. Bottom line was that u just don't see pretty girls that are that talented and passionate about detailing. I think u both do great work and I was just trying to compliment both of you. Again sorry if u took it the wrong way.

Jarhead, thanks for that. And you're right, it can be tough to convey exactly what we're thinking sometimes when typing it out on a forum and that's just compounded when people don't know each other personally.

I tried my best to show I meant no disrespect by starting with that. He asked how would I feel if it were my mom or sis and the answer is I wouldn't b upset. As I keep trying to explain that u 2 are very talented and that it's nice to c a good looking girl work on cars rather than pose on it. And to keep this thread on track again u guys did an amazing job and I enjoy seeing ur work. My only question is what meguiars products do u two use on ur jobs? I only see carpro or cquartz.

In this particular case they used M205 in a fairly aggressive manner for cutting, and also as a finishing polish using more traditional methods. We'll let Dani and Wills address the hows and whys of their product selection process on a case by case basis, but we've seen them using M105, M101 and M100 in the past, always to very good effect. As is the mark of true professionals, they use what works best on a given project, not just one product/pad/tool combo for everything. They also push the envelope and continue to learn, no matter how high their skill set is. That's how they ended up using M205 in a way that most people don't think about and still obtained this level of correction and finish on a black Corvette.

Megs 205, MF Finishing pads both 3" and 6", Final Inspection (helped with cleaning the pads), Megs Degreaser, Hyper-Dressing and glass cleaner were all used on this detail. Guess you were a bit too distracted with the pictures and missed the part of the write up where i emphasized how great 205 was not just for a finishing polish but also for cutting the deeper defects as well.

Looked at your site and saw your prices. Was this one of the packages with several add-ons, or a special job? What is that green, big wheel seat you sis used?

The green thing is called a Scoot-N-Do! Lol. Dani's favorite accessory by far. I dont think they even make them like that anymore, we got ours from a client. This was priced out as a multi-step polish/correction with the CQuartz Finest and Dlux add on. So the correction work is basically based off of how long we take and then Finest and Dlux is a flat price add on.

We do use it quite often. Its a nice add on…even though we don't get a ton of rain, when it does happen it helps to sheet the water quite nicely. It also makes cleaning away bugs and such much easier. Actually just had some rain the past weekend and the C7 we care for came in and told us how well the water was sheeting off the glass while he was driving in the rain. As for how it compares to rain-x, while i personally have not done a side by side test, I have seen a couple of videos and spoken to others that say the water will start to "fly" sooner than compared to rain-x (so you don't have to be driving as fast) and it also lasts longer.

Once again, a spectacular job--thanks for both the terrific work and the detailed writeup about how you accomplished it!

My vehicle isn't to the level of a GS7 but it means a lot to me--and I LOVED the restore job you did on the BMW!

                          A tremendous achievement!

The more I see on cquartz the more I like it. Finest, dlux, etc... I'm really impressed with them.

Now once u use cquartz finest there's no need for adding sealant or wax?

But do people still add it ontop?

How many applications do u use of the finest to achieve ur best results?

And last one adding the dlux or pure I think is the other one can u add a dressing ontop of that?
I ask that cuz it claims to lat 6 months and so all the washes in between I would do I would still like to get that shine.
