Polishing Machine Joke??/

20 YEARS AGO I BOUGHT ONE WOOL PAD 9 INCHES...
AND WITHOUT ROTARY BUFFER BACKING PLATE...
I WENT HOME AND FIXED IT IN MY ANGLE GRINDER??

I RUN THE MACHINE...IT'S TOO FAST... I PUT LITTLE
RUBBING COMPOUND ON THE CAR AND SWITCHED ON
THE MACHINE... AND AS SOON AS I TUCHED THE CAR
SURFACE ALL THE WOOL OF THE PAD FLY OVER THE CAR
AND PAINT BURNED AND SPOIED..

I FELT VERY DISAPOINTED AND STOPPED POLISHING

BUT NOW AFTER I MET THE MEGUIARS DEALER HERE..
AND RECOMMENED ME THE SPECIFIC POLISHER...
I BECOME SO HAPPY AND HOPE TO BECOME A PROFISSIONAL
CAR POLISHER....???

Hi GA,

Just to let you know, I learned how to buff using a rotary buffer with a wool pad and the first thing I did was burn through the paint! In fact... in a couple of places!

The important thing is to keep on trying and to learn from your mistakes.

here is the joke

will explain you like if u are in the class no. 1 at school..

i used to have an ordenery grinder and not polisher okay
the above grinder if for cuttng steel and grinding boats only okay
i went to the paint shop and bought new wool pad 8 inches
and 4 ltr. rubbing compount.. its orange color and it looks like
sandy compunt... heavey compound okay.. op to here...

i put the above compound on my brother car and run the
ordenery grinder machine by using the wool pld...
the angle grinder is not for polishing...at all but its over
3000 rpm.. i start plishing...and becuse of the hi speed of
the machine.. all the paint start coming out....burn...
and the wool pad... spoiled .. and all the cotton at the
wool pad start coming out and flying in the are...

so i stopped the polishing.. from that moment...

but now i am so happy to join this web site..

by the way dont thinking that i am silly man...but i am
a profissional boat builder and custom painter here in
my country... and shortly will post my pic... thank you
