Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer G15812 is still active, that said, Hybrid Ceramic Trim Restorer outperforms in longevity, durability, overall protection, ease of maintenance. Hybrid Ceramic Trim Restorer will also provide a noticeable difference in water beading on exterior non painted plastic trim which many of you know typically makes contaminant removal easier during washing & can also stay cleaner. Ultimate Black G15812 can have a slight advantage when it comes to gloss; Hybrid Ceramic Trim Restorer is more of a new look.

In regards to special preparation, nothing really special, our normal recommendations for preparing trim prior to using a trim protection/restoration product - the surface should be washed with a car wash solution & dry before application. A glass cleaner can also be used to prepare surface or many people use an all purpose cleaner like our DRTU Citrus Power Cleaner Plus during washing to deep clean exterior trim prior to applying a trim protection product. Always ensure surface is clean & dry for best performance.

How does it feel after application? Greasy to the touch? I apply other products on my running boards but when i step on it entering the car it leaves a sticky squeaky feel on the sole of my shoes, if that makes sense.

This should feel more dry to the touch for you.

As far as durability, how long typically to reapply? Twice a year, quarterly, monthly? Looks like nice product.

We did some real world, stored outdoors, daily driven testing & are getting about 3 months.

Tagging onto the above question on time of launch, do you have info on Canada's market?
Up here we still have last years new product list on a wait here. Hybrid Paint Coating, orange hybrid wash mitt, M122 surface prep, snow foam, the new formulas of Ultimate Liquid wax and paste. Any word of timeline for Canada on both the above list and the new 2022 products??

Hey Nick, is it possible to use this product also for tire sidewalls? Would this work in terms of protection, water repellency, anti-aging etc. when you don't need that high gloss?

So this 'restores' trim to a nice deep black say, and offers protection. On the label of Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax (yellow bottle) it reads for trim and plastic as well, so can you use this Restorer as an initial cleanup and deepen of color, then top with the HCLW for more protection and continue with applications of the HCLW for locked in protection??

December - Online typically is first to have available as most auto parts stores do not reset their plan until Q1. Regarding residue on plastic trim, you would want to remove that first with a product like our DRTU Citrus Power Cleaner Plus.

Hey, we did not design or test it for that application.

HCLW can be used on trim for protection but this would be much better for restoring. I would use one or other & not top.
