RECOMMENDATIONS: When using a D/A to apply a wax or paint sealant with this style of very soft foam we recommend to work in the 3.0 to 4.0 Speed Setting.

Will this new foam technology create a higher gloss and/or clean better then the foam used on the current finishing pads, that is when all other factors are equal?

It's a more gentle to the finish foam.

It will maximize the finishing process using the right product, not sure even the most trained eye could see a difference between a flawless black finish created with our W-9006 and our W9207 all other factors kept precisely controlled.

That's not to discount this new foam recipe, it's more to say our 9000 series foam is still a great finishing foam.

The design of this finishing pad is as a finishing pad, it is not dedicated to any specific product. You can use it with a variety of products for doing finishing work, that would include cleaner/polishes, light paint cleaners or swirl mark removers, cleaner/waxes, pure polishes, polish/waxes and pure waxes.

Is this the same foam as the Solo finishing pads?

Have never been told that so let me check.

Checked with Mike Pennington, our Director of Training and the answer is it is a different foam than the foam formula used for the Solo WDFF7 Finishing pad.

but the g110 uses 6.5 pads..wouldn't the 7 pad be a little big?

These new 2.0 pads work great on a DA. We have done lots and lots of testing with both a rotary and DA.

In combination with our new backing plates, you see even better results !

^^not sure on how that specifically answered my question but how do you wash these?
