So1o Burgandy Wool Transfer Problem to Paint Surface

Mike (or anyone for that matter): I was using the So1o Burgandy wool pad on a White BMW with M105 and had a "first" for me. The Burgandy wool transferred to the paint! Never had this happen before and I've used the pads since So1o first appeared.

Now, my only thought is I did not use the So1o backing plate this time but a firmer plate.

Question: do you think the firmer plate created more heat and the wool transferred? Or, do I need to call customer service and replace this pad?

Thanks all. I ended up getting the burgandy melted material off with alcohol and switched to a white wool pad with no problems to finish my work.

Morning,

I have never had that problem happen to me and like you I use both the light cut and heavy cut Solo pads a lot. They have been excellent pads!
