What is the main difference between these 2 products and which would you say is the better product?

    Thanks

Re: Final Inspection vs Quik Detailer

    Morning,

The biggest difference is that M34 Final Inspection is body shop safe whereas Quik Detailer is not.

I use a lot of M34 as I use it for claying lube, prepping pads etc. Plus it also comes in the gallon size.

Final Inspection is a 'Body Shop' safe product in the pro line... Where Quik Detailer is not and is sold in the consumer line. Both are used the same (to remove light dust/finger prints)... both work well. Now if you are looking for a top notch detailer you might look in to Meguiars Ultimate Detailer.

What's the difference between Quik Detailer and M34?

Just to point out, because a lot of people come to this forum and don't know Meguiar's history...

Meguiar's has been formulating product for Auto Manufactures and the Refinishing industries longer than we've been making products for the Consumer market, so our roots and history start and continue with making products for the Professional side of this industry.

Neither one is better than the other, their formulas are just tailored for the market they are intended for.

sorry for off topic. How about Last Touch vs Final Inspection ?

I was told Last Touch is advance version (detailer series) of Quik Detailer and if vs. Final Inspection the different is Final Inspection is silicone free (do not carry any wax ingredient.

Correct me if i am wrong

I'm seeing this as of late. I must have been asleep when that term was explained elsewhere in the forum. Rather than starting a thread I'll just ask the question real quick, is that a quick spray onto the machine pad before putting on a product?

                Yes it is.

I always prime/prep the pad with M34 before I apply product with it.

                  Thank you!
Would regular QD be as effective? Does the pad prep work for wax too?

Yes, you can use regular QD. Just remember, you only do a light mist and work it in with your fingers. You only do this when you first use the pad for that detailing session.

I use the M34 as I buy it by the gallon as I go through lots of it.

Yes you can use a very light mist for the waxing pad. The reason for a VERY light mist is that with the wax/sealant, you do not want anything that may interfere with the application and set up of the wax/sealant. Hence, a very light mist, only once at the beginning is all that is needed to prime the pad.
