I've used 135 immediately after a complete detail with fantastic results. However, I've never used it without at least a thorough wash beforehand.
Last weekend I did a complete detail on my daily driver black Accord. Over a 7 day period, it collected a fair amount of dust and got rained on yesterday. So, now I've got a very light coating of mud on the paint. Since I spent all day getting rid of swirls last weekend, I'm not anxious to put them back into the paint.
So, what would you guys suggest? A Gold Class wash and then 135 or take the risk with 135 alone. I can't even bring myself to do a test spot with the 135 for fear of the resultant insta-swirls. Black Honda paint is REAL finicky!
