Can't Find PlastX alone

I have been reading good things about PlastX and was ready to try it in my cars shiny plastic pillars between the doors which are pretty scratched. I tried the usual suspects in my area Walmart, Target, Kragen and Autozone but can't find it by itself (i.e not in the headlight resotration kit).

I got tired of looking for it and driving around

So my question is does Meguiar's still makes PlastX available on its own?

If so where is the best place to find it OTC?

I believe it is still being sold on its own
I think you just got caught in a bad time where the stores ran out or do not have it.
Most places online have it by itself.

What are the usual suspects? You are referring to the stores I assume, not products.

I do not know that I have ever seen it in a store. One of the many products I guess.

I would just order from ADS, put together a few products to reach the shipping limit, and you tend to save money.

I gave up trying to find it in stores and ordered it direct from Mequiar's website. You won't be disappointed in the performance of PlastX.

Of course it also depends on how deeply scratched the pillars are. PlastX worked great on my convertible top window, but it was mostly a matter of removing oxidation, dirt, and a few hairline scratches.

Call Customer Care at 1-800-347-5700 and they may be able to help you locate a local retail store.

When you go to work on the shiny, glossy black pillars between the windows, be sure to do a test spot first and make sure PlastX is working on this type of plastic finish. Some plastics are very sensitive to scratching, so test first before applying to the entire face of the pillar and use a clean, foam applicator pad to apply and microfiber to remover.

Would they be able to point me to a store that they know carries the actual product or would they just say go to Walmart. Kragen, Autozone near your zip code. If it's the second option I already tried that but if it's the first it would be valuable information.

I can go to any O'Reilly/Advance Auto/Checker/NAPA/CarQuest and find this product on the shelf.

I see it all the time at my local Kragen Auto Parts. But that is in southern California (City of Corona) However, I have also noticed that that particular store has a larger than average selection of Meguiar's goods in stock. Hopefully that helps.
