Product questions about Cordless buffer

I called the tech line, but Meg's has a company-wide event and they won't be available until tomorrow. So I figured I'd post it up here too:

- What is the warranty on this item, and does it cover battery performance?

- Where is this product manufactured?

- Who makes it for Meguiar's?

I think I'm gonna go with it as a gift (for anyone who followed the Autopia thread) since I really think the cordless aspect will be useful for the recipient. And I think Meg's is the way to go as a warranty and customer satisfaction really mean something with Meg's. It can really vary with a lot of lowest-price type vendors, especially when it comes to warranty concerns.

The buffer is made over-seas and carries a 3 year limited warranty.

I quite like the buffer. It does the job of applying a Last Step Product quite well, especially if you are applying the coat when you arrive at a car show etc... .

Thanks, 2HotFord. I called though just to be sure, and they said the same thing. 3 year warranty, to include batteries, and it's made in China. The guy told me by whom, but now I can't recall.

Like I said, I can't recall. It was something like that, but there's a decent chance that many companies sound something like that. I already ordered it, so it doesn't matter too much to me anymore. But you could call the customer service line and ask. That's how I found out. And
