  • Hi everyone, my first post on MOL - with a question...

Hi everyone, I'm happy to be here with all of you experts.
I have two questions for you:

    1. Does anyone know the difference between these 2 tire dressings?

Gold Class Endurance® High Gloss and Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Spray
    (or gel)

    2. Which one has the longest durability?

    Thanks!

Hi Spike, and welcome to MOL.

Well, the obvious difference between these two products is that the Endurance is a gel while this particular Hot Shine formula is a spray. Hot Shine also comes as a gel, by the way, and in either format will give you a higher gloss than Endurance will. Endurance should last longer overall though, assuming equal variables (prep, exposure, etc).

Thanks for answering. I guess my main question was about the durability of the two products, and my first question was not clear in what I was getting at. I think from what I've been reading about the products is that the two are similar, but each person likes a different level of gloss on the tire. So you offer different products based on what the customer wants in terms of shine. I love a nice, glossy tire, but a lot of people like a more satin or matte finish. I think this maybe is a better question:

What Megs tire dressing that you have used has given you the longest durability? (assuming equal variables, of course)

(And I assume the spray type doesn't last as long as the gel type? But I could be wrong...)

And it looks like Endurance is the winner...any other thoughts?
