I have read about the polish/wax clasification for the UW, I just want to know if it is fine to apply the UW over any glaze, this dont affect the coat of the glaze removing the polish oils properties of this like the m7? should I will wait for some time to let the glaze cure before apply the UW?

Re: UW over a Glaze
Sure you can! However, i would use one that's within the Meguiar's family of products. It will be removed by a carwash, since the glaze (or pure polish) is water miscible or soluble. It is considered an optional step from meguiars since NXT2, Gold class and i think ultimate wax itself already have polishing oils in it and the benefits given by pure polishes from meguiars will also depend on the condition of the paint, whether or not its a single stage or base-coat/clear-coat (single stage paints benefit most from pure polish), and the color of the paint.
Now in regards to the curing of glazes/pure polish, no there is no cure time or haze time. You apply it, massage it into the paint, remove it WHILE WET, then apply your wax. The ultimate polish is also a glaze/polish but with some abrasives/cleaning properties. It adds depth like a glaze, but it also has some paint correcting abilities.
If you have a dark colored car, M7 will add depth and that wet look we all love. A coat of ultimate wax will add that wow factor. It will seal the shine and depth left by the M7 glaze, and add even more depth, shine, brilliance and protection to your paint. So go ahead, apply you M7 before the ultimate wax!

Re: UW over a Glaze
I've done it on this car (it's base coat/ clear coat): M105/ M205/ M07/ Ultimate Paste Wax, without any issues:

I must say that on modern clear coat paints I really like Ultimate Polish before Ultimate Wax. But of course M07 will work too.

excellent work on that car Greg, looks awesome, I think I will go with M07 and ultimate wax, as the paint is in good shape for now and is my undertanding the Ult polish has some abrasives/cleaning properties anyway I will get also the Ult polish, I think it will worth try at least once a year or when I start to notice some minimal damage to the paint, thanks againg for your clarification.

Your plan of action sounds good. Ultimate Polish used with a finishing buffing pad will behave more like a pure polish, minimum cutting, maximum gloss. Polishing buffing pad would increase its correction ability to remove mild or medium defects.
M07 is a great gloss booster for sure.

Are you sure UW has *abrasives*? My understanding is that contains only mild cleaners and certainly cant do any correction.Paul Marmarinos
