  • UW liquid vs M21 2.0

I just thought I would post this for the heck of it .

I did a test and split my tailgate in half after doing the whole tailgate with #6 . I did UW liquid on one half and #21 on the other . The results as far as looks go are pretty similar and really hard to tell the difference , but I can see the 21 looks slightly more dark and nuba looking and the UW liquid looks a little more crisp and sealant looking . The depth seems also very close to really call .

This was done on a 2011 black (non metallic) GMC .

Just thought I would share that . I did do a couple of cali dust offs and a couple of #34 wipes in between .

    They both look good though.

On darker colors I would give slight advantage to Ultimate Wax but on lighter paints NxT Tech Wax 2.0 and M21 2.0 seem to finish really good.

Ultimate Wax is Meguiar's longest lasting protecting product now.

Re: UW liquid vs M21 2.0

I was a big fan of NXT 2.0 and M07 for years especially on my black Jeep....bought a lighter colored car and just detailed it with UP & UW Paste...really impressed with the result and have to give the nod to UW. Posted about it w/pics last week. Greg is right, UW is also supposed to be the most durable wax Meguiar's has now. I've driven thru one rain storm already and the water practically couldn't stay on it and what managed to linger were tiny beads....time will tell.
