  • Question on Leather Sealer

Got this today! Yipee! It says it dries to the touch in 15 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours. Can I sit in the seat, touch the surface before 24 hours, or will this be a problem?

    Thanks!

          Re: Question on Leather Sealer

Since this is essentially a polymer coating for your leather seats, similar in basic concept to a polymer sealant for your paint, it is best to try and not disturb it for as close to 24 hours as you can. Overnight should be fine but 24 hours is best. Obviously such a product applied to something you'll be sitting on and moving around on is going to be more highly stressed than a sealant applied to your paint will be, so while you can apply sealant and pretty much drive off, for max curing and adhesion we do recommend this curing time.
