    Is 3 years what I should expect from the S6HP hook and loop applicator handle?

    My model year 2014 has only known Meguiars inside and out. Due to age and various shoulder/arm injuries, I've been able to stay in the ULW game thanks to the S6HP hook and loop foam applicator handle. I think I've used it less than 10 times in 3 years and I store it in a zip lock bag in the garage. But today I went to use it and the S6HP rubber is disintegrating and dropping black crumbs everywhere. Is that the expected lifespan?
