  • looking for smart car thread??

    i saw a thread with some pics of a smart micro car...my freind has one and is keen to see what was used on it

    can anyone point me towards it...ive looked at a few pages but im on dial up so things are slow

        I remember that thread.. did a little seraching, I have no idea where it has fell to now.

        The general car care rules would still apply... but I forget if they are painted plastic panels or actualy colored plastic.

          he tells me it has panels molded in body color...so you would be buffing bare plastic....and the frame that the panels bolt to is powder coated steel

          im trying to convince him to sign up and get some pics on here

          i seem to remember it was a detail day for some other brand and the smart tagged along

                Hmm... thats actualy not the tread I was thinking of. There was a yellow, or maybe blue golf cart type thing that was done once.

                  The video shows as unavailable now, but try it - they drive a smart into a concrete block at 70 mph and both doors still open and close without any trouble - try that with whatever you're driving at the moment.
