NXT doesn't work well as a Colored Wax. Never use a color coordinated wax

You know, I understand how it's easy to read a post like that and think the person's ignorant, but you can't change people and people are always going to post what they want on public forum without good moderation.

That said, our forum rules don't allow our community to bash other people so I'm going to edit your post to make it nicer.

Spend time at other car related forums and you see all sort of weird claims, bizarre statements, and of course just plain personal preferences.

Case in point: I recently read a post where the person said that Brand-X was a truly professional line of products while Meguiar's is more of a consumer based brand. I simply responded that perhaps this poster should look at Meguiar's extensive Professional line of products and then mentioned that although Meguiar's does indeed have a consumer line, it's only been around for the last 30 years of the company's more than 100 year existance. I closed by saying that I did not want to get into a big debate over who makes the best anything, so if you've found something you really like and it works well for you then that's cool, and at least you're taking care of your car. All I intended to do was educate the poster about Meguiar's background - I made no claims whatsoever about the quality of Meguiar's products or even that I'm a huge fan/extensive user.

The first response to my post was from a third party, in support of the aforementioned Brand-X, with the logic that since Brand-X makes more products for the car painting and repair industry (including disposable items used in the actual prepping and painting of cars), along with their line of polishes and waxes, that it somehow made Brand-X a better company. The guy actually said "who cares if Meguiar's has been around for over 100 years", Brand-X has more products. He even challenged me to go to both websites and count the different products, actually saying "Ha! Meguiar's, you lose!!!"

You know, you just can't fight that kind of logic, so I basically just said that this was the sort of baseless arguement I wanted to avoid, and moved on.

I think the guys that make those paper seat covers and floor "mats" with the shoe prints printed onto them and say "thank you" or whatever must make the best waxes and polishes. They know all about "protecting" stuff.
