New paint and windscreen scratch

Just had the front of my car [Hood and fenders] repainted, nice job, looks good, the guy who did the work says that the products he used dont need time to cure and I can seal and wax now, what do you folks think?
also.
sometime during de masking, the wiper on the passenger side got damaged, the end of the metal strip that holds the rubber flat got bent and was rubbing against the w/sheild, didnt see it till after it put a nice clean scratch on the window, does anyone have any tips on how to remove or reduce the appearance of this scratch.
