              I used to work on T.V.'s and my step dad and me would fix old folk's T.V.'s by pulling the guts out (except front panels, knobs etc) and put a new T.V. in the cabinet with Stereo and modern picture. They used to love it, it took a while to fabricate the right stuff to get the new set to fit good.

              It was fun. Those old console T.V.'s and stereos were very nice, the wood seemed to be better than the electronics.

              Good find, you'll have fun.

              P.S. Our old T.V. croaked and we bought a new one in and put it on top of the old one (you might be a redneck....) LOL.

                First I'll see if it works, then I'll see if it can be fixed, next I'll swap in a new flat screen.
