You can pay $200 to $20,000 and more if you really wanted to. What will greatly affect the price is the quality of the prep (this is key), quality of materials, and reputation of the shop doing the work. Also, do you want to change colors or just respray the same color? You can save a lot of money if you're not interested in a color change because the shop won't have to spray door jambs, pull the motor to spray the engine bay, etc.

Realistically you're looking at $4,000 for a respray up to $10,000 for a color change. You can probably get it done cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

I guess i would go for a 500 to 1,000 dollar paint job. I would repaint it the same color (Laser Red). My dad told me by painting it the same color will help hold its value better if I were to sell it at an auction in the future if it will ever be a collector car.

Hate to say it, but you can't find a good paint job at that price. The materials alone for a decent paint job will cost about what you want to spend on everything.

Good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good.

Pictures of your car? Maybe a good detail will save you a repaint.

However, a quality repaint is going to run you $2500 and up.

I try to put pictures on but I can't figure it out. I will keep trying though.
