  • Leather Jacket care

I was wondering if yall know what the proper care for a leather jacket is. Could meguiars products work on it or would that be a bad idea?

I've only used the Meguiars Leather FOAM on my leather jackets...works great...also use it on our leather couch. I'm sure any of the leather products would work great on leather. That's what they're made for

I have used the Meguiars products on baseball gloves, no trouble either... let us know if it works well on your jacket. I have been considering doing mine.

I'd go Gold Class cleaner/conditioner.. that would be pretty mild. Even the spray/foam/wipes would probably be milder than working the cream in.

For conditioner only, you would want the Step 2 Conditioner with Aloe (or some name like that).

I think, leather is leather. If it's real leather, then I think any Megs product made for leather should be fine.

Hmmm, I've worn mine for five or more years and done nothing....stilll looks the same. Cows wear 'em year round rain or shine I think that car interiors are subject to more extreme conditions and usage than a coat.....hotter temperatures, abrasion, dirt, etc.
