I have been wanting a Car Bubble for years now!!! Of course, one of those in a garage would be even better, so now I need a garage first, hehe!

I need one of those for my classic. They keep the moisture out and prevent rust. Kind of big but I think it might fit in my garage.

So pointless...if you spend that much money on that Porsche, looks like a GT3 or Turbo, both which are over $100,000, you should be driving it. I can understand if its a classic car that you've built up or gotten from family or what not, but you don't go out and buy a car like that and let it sit there.

Plus if you keep it in a bubble to protect it from the elements, why would you even drive it?

I guess what ever suits your needs.

Why wouldn't you just close the garage and spend the $1000 making your garage dust proof?

Making your garage into a cleanroom would cost a whole lot more than $1000, and you would also lose all the functionality of it being a garage. Double door, dust sprayers in the airlock, positive pressure within the room...just way too much to do on $1000.
I like the car capsules because they also protect from dents and whatnot- there is enough pressure inside the bubble to keep a five pound hammer from contacting your car if it's dropped. The constant cycling of air keeps things dry, and the filters keep it dust free.
I don't care about the dust issues, just the protection and preventative environment that the bubble provides. All this, and I would still drive the car as much as possible.

I don't know why people assume this is only to keep your car dust free. It doesn't have to be in a garage, so therefore for someone like me who's car is outside 24/7, it would help a lot with the dust and dirt since I park about 10 feet away from a dirt road. It will also keep the neighbor's cats, sap, honeydew, rain, overspray, pine cones, pine needles, soccer balls, etc. off of my car too. Those huge spiky pine cones (some of then are almost as big as a melon!) can do some damage when they fall 100+ feet and land on a car.

I would still use it in the garage though too. Stuff can fall and hit it, etc. I don't see the point in spending a little bit of money to protect those expensive/rare/collectible cars. Oh yeah, little kids happen too. I remember running into my aunt's car in the garage on my bike when I was little. At that point on a $100,000+ car, that $350 would sure seem like a godsend now.
