Pep Boys is running a coupon through the end of the month for $10.00 off a $30.00 purchase. Looks like the coupon is good until April 25th.

Since I posted this coupon, I figured I should try it out and make sure it works.

I purchased $30.95 worth of stuff and paid $20.95 plus tax. So the coupon does work. In fact I don't see why you couldn't print out multiple copies and go back several times before April 25th. To bad I don't really need anything else.

For anyone interested here is what I bought:

2 - 24 oz Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner ($6.49 x 2)
1 - Ultimate Quick Wax ($9.99)
1 - Hot Rims Chrome Polish ($5.99)
1 - Caraband Tire Swipe Applicator ($1.99 item to take me over $30)

I used the coupon and bought a Brinkmann Dual Xenon flashlight this morning ($30, bought it for $20). There will be no more hiding for swirls in my paint!

Wooo I have a $150 gift certificate to pep boys. Looks like multiple trips with that coupon will make buying some consumer line detailing supplies from there at the slightly higher price worth it!

FYI I purchased a Zenon light at Pep Boys last month and like it a lot, but the cashier "accidentally" charge me almost $6 for an extended warranty without asking me. (20%?) After I drove home (2 hours in traffic) and looked at my receipt closely I discovered it and called to find that they can't give a refund without going back to the store. I wouldn't have purchased it if she had asked me as I've wasted thousands in the past on extended warranties for vehicles, TVs, etc. only to have them expire before I really needed them. (I should have gone into the insurance biz years ago.)

Maybe she did do it accidentally. Not very professional either way.

Thought I'd mention it in case some plan a Zenon purchase and feel about extended warranties as I do.

Used my 10.00 coupon tonight !!...#7 Show Car Glaze, Endurance High Gloss, Ultimate Quik Wax and a wall protector for my garage ($12.99)...all of that for $36.00...thanks for the link to the coupon !!!!
