  • Turbo-wash nozzle

Has anyone here tried using the Turbo-wash pressure nozzle? It's yellow, comes with a few different pattern tips, and soap. I just got it from my brother for my birthday and it seems to do a pretty good job. I was just curious if anyone else has used it and if other products could be used with it

    Never heard of it.
You should write a review on it.

        REVIEW!!!

        TurboWash pressure wash system

I just got this from FedEx...my brother sent it to me for my birthday present. So, like the average detailing nut car crazy guy, I had to take it out for a test spin!

        The Kit includes:
The high pressure nozzle (the big yellow thing)
        multiple changeable tips:
        -90 degree
        -45 degree
        -flat
        -straight pressure
1 16oz bottle of Soft Suds soap
1 "waxxer" attachment (car wax, mixes with water...wax and dry)

The set up is extremely easy, and the directions are very clear to follow. To set it up, you just attach it a garden hose first, then remove a plug on the drum and fill it with the soap (should take the whole bottle). Replace the plug, then put on the desired tip (i used flat..it's a lot like the DIY car wash bays) then select desired soap mix (there's a knob that is labeled "off" "*" and "soap") with soap being mostly soap and not much water. Then crank the main control knob to "wash" and lather the car with the suds. The directions say not to wet the car first, which I thought was strange. Also, you don't need to sponge unless there is hard water in your area or your car is heavily soiled. Also, apparently you need to soap from the bottom up, which I though a bit odd as well.

The soap provides a good covering of suds, but not quite as well foaming as a foam nozzle (perhaps if I used a different soap, it would). But it did a very good job of removing whatever landed on my car since my last wash, without scrubbing. I ran over my car twice, then switched to the wax nozzle. The wax nozzle feels funny when using it because there is added weight to the end of the telescoping nozzle. Switch the main control to "frc" which is a lower pressure setting, just above off, and cover the car in wax from the top down. Finally, dry off the car with microfiber towels and the car is left with a pretty good shine. I was rather impressed by this and I didn't even need to get a bucket or anything.

The nozzle can also be used for cleaning siding, concrete, and various other things besides just your car. The company provides different nozzle heads as well as a harder soap for more heavy duty applications. They also have available a spinning tip to provide a agitating action.

In conclusion, I was very pleased with the performance of this 30 dollar kit. It really does what it claimed to do of cutting the time it takes to wash your car. The only gripe i had was that the soap was good and all, but it didn't provide quite as much suds as I would have liked (or as much as you all would like), but it was good nonetheless. The wax tube although short lived, does provide a decent liquid wax that is a spray on wipe off ordeal. I would recommend this for anyone here on the forums, it's a very lightweight, handy tool for your supply stash!

P.S. I'll add more when I try using a regular car soap in the reservoir.

            Interesting.

Certainly could be an option if the regular car wash soaps can be used.

hey guys i tried it with some regular car soap...it works pretty well as a higher pressure foam gun. Just make sure you put a thick foaming soap in like say deep crystal.
