hey everybody , were do you guys buy meguiars products in canada particularly in BC. Currently i go to lordco but they are really expensive , i paid 40$ for one w1000 pad. and Im only 16 so online wont work for me ? Any ideas

I'm in Southern Ontario and most of the consumer products I can find at Canadian Tire and NAPA Autoparts. Have a look at eshine.ca they have very good canadian prices and good selection.

Also a note to anyone else in Ontario, I was just at a TSC Hardware store and all their Megs products are half price! Picked up Gold Class liquid for $9!

Even with a shop discount at lordco, the w1000 still costs $36 before tax!!!

NXT 2.0 is $50 lol...

For all you Canadian guys who want to buy some Meg's stuff in bulk, get ahold of Michelle at Dominion Sure Seal and ask her to send you a list of the Meg's stuff they carry. They can order ALMOST everything.

Meg's Canada directed me to them to order some APC. I haven't ordered yet, but the price seems reasonable. It's $11.36 each and you have to buy in a case of 4.

Anybody had any experience with them?

And I'm pretty sure you can bring Meg's stuff over the border, meaning if you declare stuff, they won't confiscate it.

Now if you don't declare it... thats a different story

Yeah, it's legal. Car care products are not narcotics or banned items. Moreover, if you are not carrying a lot or a crate of the products, they should not give you any trouble, assuming that you are bringing the stuff across the border as gifts or for personal use. But unless you are importing a large amount, which you would be charged duty for if you rightfully declare the items at the border, you will not break even for the cost of transporting them. You don't have to declare the items if you are just bringing in a couple bottles of waxes in your trunk.

No problem bringing supplies across,not subject to duty per free trade agreement, but "may" be subject to GST and PST depending on dollar value and the mood of the border agent!.
I have done it several times (approx $125.00 orders) and paid GST & PST once.

Well..... that's not QUITE accurate, it depends on the customs officer you're dealing with and how picky he/she is about going through your list. Only Mequiars products manufactured in the US qualify for the Free Trade bit... those nice MF towels on the other hand originate elsewhere and you *could* be charged duty on those..... Ditto for things like the G110 as it originates from China and so on...... Most often, they don't check, but I did have one situation where I was grilled on the origin of some items for a Japanese motor cycle. In that case they were US made custom parts, so I didn't have to pay duty.

Not quite accurate, "Only Mequiars products manufactured in the US and Mexico" (if any) qualify for Free Trade bit. In my area it has been my experience that the border agents "usually" do not bother breaking down origin of products in shipments of this size.
Your mileage may vary!!.

I get my Meguiar's at Canadian Tire. Some stores stock more variety than others though.
