Got my first account!!!

Went out today to a bunch of dealerships trying to get accounts to do paint repair on their pre-owned lots... out of the 10 I pitched to...only ONE let me do my free demo, and guess what... they were the ones to give me my first account. All the others wouldnt even let me do a free demo... I bet if they had let me, Id have more than one account already. The account I got is for a large volume Ford dealership. Im excited!!

How much time are you allotted per car, and what is your overall plan of attack?

I am allowed as long as I need. Usually between 20 minutes and one hour. in rare cases more that that. I spent 2 hours on the demo car I did today.

My plan of attack is to keep pitching to dealerships and car lots and to work hard and do the best job that I can. And also to refine my skills as I go, because I ma still very very new to this all.

I use a patented chip repair process that allows me to fix anywhere from 1 to hundreds of paint chips in less than an hour...by hand...with no paint brush. Its pretty remarkable.

I've never done the 5 step process myself. What I am doing is a patented process not known by too many people. It uses patented proprietary paints and chemicals. I'm not able to reveal the exact details of the process due to the patent.

The dealership salesman and sales manager were very impressed with the results.

There are too many bad detailers out there giving the trade a bad name.
When the term detailing comes to the mind of an average person, it is thought of as a $300 wax job.

Well, I will not be detailing any cars. I am strictly a paint repair tech...rock chips and scratches. touch up type stuff.
