Re: Lowering Springs....
I just got my eibach sportline springs this week to lower my chevy cobalt! They are not installed yet! I'm gonna install them maybe wenesday or thursday. I will give a link to a chevy cobalt forum. I know you have a suzuki but just check the whole process out on the link. You'll probabkly need a chuck compressor for the front spring. localy they were kind expensive for me, so i ordered the tool from ebay and got it for cheap, its not the best quality but how many time am i gonna use this in my life ?

Re: Lowering Springs....
It might a long shot....but if you haven't already you could google for a suzuki car club. If there is one....check their tech forums for anyone that's posted a How-To.
Or you could buy a Haynes manual for your car and it will show you step by step how to remove your suspension. I used a Haynes back in 2007 when I installed my Eibach Pro Kit springs and KYB AGX adjustable shocks.

Re: Lowering Springs....
You'll need a spring compressor, and I'd recommend airtools or else it'll be a slow process. I went to a shop and got it installed for $150ish for my Camry. I'll post pictures for kicks. I'm lowered on Tein S-techs as well...
Generic height of a 2010 Camry...
Lowered on s-techs and Lexus GS rims...
I need a 15mm spacer in the back to make it flush though

Re: Lowering Springs....
Spring installs arent to hard, though Ive only ever done them with friends who had air tools. As someone else said the air tools will make life soooo much easier! So I would definitely just check out a how to and find some local friends to work with.
Im not lowered at the moment (looking to in the future on coils) but got some friends who are insane low. The suzuki has a shorter front end as does the civic so unless you are going dumped you shouldnt have much trouble. You will just quickly learn that you start taking every incline and speed bump at an angle

Re: Lowering Springs....
I all depends on your car. Each car will react different to being lowered. And that said, each lowered car will react different to different spring/strut/shock setup. (and FWD/RWD too) I had a 99 grand prix that I lowered with Eibachs on KYB struts. The rid was stiffer by far, but I was used to it due to crappy OEM struts that were on it before.
With the Grand Prixs, it is typical to get vibration upon acceleration due to the misaligned axles. (FWD) Some get sorted motor mounts to pull the motor forward a little or they buy tranny and engine mount spacers to bring the axles back into the proper position.
Mine rode like it was on rails after the install. Though I added new beefier front and rear sway bars, end links, and trailing arms with poly bushings.
I say get on a vehicle specific forum and check for lowered cars and some pros and cons, then address the issues that can be potentially dangerous.
Don't forget an alignment too....
