  • Parquet floor cleaning using Meguiars ?

Hi guys, This is a crazy idea that I have, let me know what you think.

I have a new apartment with some very dirty parquet. And then I started to think, well this is similar to a car paint...

So the question/idea is: could I use the scratchx or paint cleaner to clean the parquet floor from impurities and other mini bodies ? I could even polish and put some wax (perhaps for wood)

Has anyone ever tried this? I have the feeling that it should work.

    Regards.

Parquet flooring is wood. It doesn't have anything similar to automotive paint. You need to use products designed for wood flooring. You could alway rent a sander and refinish them yourself. But, that would be a waste since you are renting (I assume).

Just be aware that ScratchX or other paint cleaners could mar the floor depending on how you apply it and how soft the floor is. I would not recommend waxing the floor, it might make it too slick.
