    Hello from Me. Andy M. MOL Moderator

    Hey everyone. Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on the forum as much as I should be. I had wondered wether I should put ths out there because I don't want in any way to take away from the forum. Life sometimes gets in the way of what we love to do. Truth is. Last May I was diagnosed with Cancer. I had a stage 4 tumor in my neck. I had what is called a radical neck dissection. Google it if you wish, but it is not for the faint of heart. After that I went through 35 radiation treatments which really messed me up. I have also been going through a difficult divorce for the past three and a half years. So I am sorry if I have not kept up my obligations as a moderator of our forum. I have done the best I can when I could. Without the support of Mark, Mike Pennington, Mike Stoops, Tim Lingor, Greg0303, and a host of others I wouldn't have made it. I needed to be well to be here for our forum. I thought about you always. I know this isn't facebook, but I just wanted to let you know I am here. Just dealing with some stuff. I am cancer free now!!! I have just moved in order to deal with medical bills. I will be posting some pics of a detail soon cause quite frankly? My car looks like ****!

    Andy, while those of us "on the inside" are aware of what you've been going through, certainly the MOL membership at large has not. And quite frankly, given your presence around here, we're pretty sure most will be amazed to hear that you've been going through everything you have. Seriously, you've hardly skipped a beat as far as we can see from this side, even though we're sure you've probably felt otherwise. You just keep on doing what you need to do for yourself, and spend whatever time you can offer here on MOL to help out the membership. Just know that we very much appreciate your input, regardless of how much input you can give at any one time.

          I am very glad to hear you are recovering. I can not even imagine how hard this whole ordeal had to have been.

            I do not know you, but it's great to know you're cancer free. And with everything else going on in your life, keep the Lord by your side and he will provide! It's good you have the people in your life to support you when in need!! Take care of yourself first and foremost.

              Glad to hear your are getting better and cancer free! If I might ask...what were your symptoms that got you to get it checked out?

                Hey Andy! Glad to hear you are cancer free!

                There will be plenty of time to get your ride all cleaned up so don't stress too much about it. We won't boot you off the forum for having a dirty car. lol

                  Symptoms.... All I had was a lump in my neck. Visible? yes. But I didn't think anything of it. Went to my family doctor after a lot of people, family and friends telling me to get it checked out. I felt fine. No problems not sick. After blood work they found my white blood cell count to be abnormally high. I went to an ENT who did a biopsy. (NO FUN) then to many others before I ended up at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. These were the best people I could have ever gone to in my opinion. Cancer is all they do. http://www.fccc.edu/ The tumor in my neck was a little over 5 cm. which is apparently, as far as tumor standards go, large which is why I was at stage 4. It has been a very long year.

                      Wow I didn't even know... I'm very glad to hear that you're cancer free now. Thanks for still coming on the forums and moderating it despite what's going on. That really says a lot on your passion for what you do here in MOL.

                      If I lived close, I wouldn't even hesitate to detail your car for you.

                      May you continue to be well and cancer free.

                              Thanks for all the support guys. It means a lot!!! I was 70 pounds lighter at one point. Just went back up 10 pounds! But I am back to work and things are getting back to normal as far as my strength goes. Looking forward to getting out and detailing sooner than later.
