    taking pics of the sun

    how does everyone get the photos of the sun in their metallic paint?

    i've been trying to take these sort of photos in my girlfriends silver metallic Astra, but so far they come out blurred or really bright.

    any ideas?

    My digital camera has a setting on it to adjust to sunlight = check for "white balance" on your camera and see if there is an adjustment...also, I set mine on MANUAL FOCUS...automatic focus has trouble with the bright light of the sun...good luck !

      its typical, i was going to spend an hour playing around with the camera tonight, but no sun and nothing but overcast clouds
