hello-

What do you guys mean by "I did a 2 passes"??
What I assuming (my own 2cents) its. Buff it and wipe it and rebuff it again. Am I right?

Well, when I see it mentioned, I think of it this way...

Your first pass might consist of moving back and forth horizontaly on part of your hood, overlapping each movement by 50%.

Your second pass would consist of moving up and down verticaly on the same part of your hood, overlapping each movement by 50%.

Then wipe off to check results.

Once you see the results you want, you can sort of figure how much time/pressure it took, and then be able to do larger areas before stopping to wipe off before the product dries ('cept waxes).

I wonder how many other ways people think of it? I never really payed much attention to how I was thinking of it.

Usually, 2 passes means it was waxed twice. Like "I made 2 passes with NXT Tech Wax." would mean I waxed it once, let it set, removed it, waited a while (some wait 12 hours between waxes), then made a 2nd pass (iow, waxed it completely again). This assures uniform converage.

Hey,

Doing two passes basically means that you have applied and removed the product twice. In other words, you have made two separate attempts (product application and removal) over the same area. At least that is how I have been advising people for years! :xyxthumbs

That's how I've used the phrase for as long as I can remember.
