This is my brother's '67 Mini.

This is usually a garage queen (weekend driver) but since his daily driver broke down and has been in someone's house getting fixed (3 months now) he had to take this to work. So it's got dirty real quick driving long distance everyday....

The paint condition is actually pretty well taken care of since this is the only car that would fit in our garage....

Start with a wash with NXT.

Since we got this car, we prob. only waxed it twice and it's been kept clean after each drive with QD. And Look at what the QD did to the paint!!! Water Bubbles!!!

All Rinsed...

As I said on ShowCarGarage.com the work is fantastic! Blue is the BEST color for a MINI or Mini! :)

Even though my latest MINI is black!

Great work!

For the pinstriping do you pay attention to it at all? Do you just go over it with the PC, or do you tape ot off, or don't tape it, just try not to go over it too much? (from your pictures it seems you do not tape it off) Does it seem to be a problem to you at all?

I love that color! Great job

Actually, I didn't tape it off because all my masking tape were all too thick. I couldn't get the ultra thin ones. So I just tried my best not to touch it. But while I'm polishing, the pinstriping actually held up at times when I accidentally went over it (but usually lightly), I just made sure I had my microfiber cloth with me so i can wipe it right off if i did go over it.

Scottwax2 That was a great write up and some really good pics. The way you made the blue paint pop had depth and it looked wet. Great job.
