Got a message from my brothers friend needing his 2002 Taurus detailed.

Now, I have a little arsenal of products to use to remove swirls and stuff:
#80
#83
Deep Crystal Polish
Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
Scratch X

I plan to see if #80 can take care of it alone, and if not, #83, but where do the other products fall in terms of abrasiveness?

Under *my* understanding, from least to most aggressive, would be the polish, cleaner, #80, scratch x, #83.

But if somebody can help and just correct me if I am wrong just so I don't use a less aggressive product when I need a more aggressive one, haha.
Im using a PC7424 by the way! :bounce

Clean w/clay or DC1(deep crystal paint cleaner)
Polish after cleaning
scratch x is the least aggressive to remove scratches and or swirls by hand
Then use #80 if that doesn't work move up to #83
You will then need to protect the finish by using a quality wax like NXT 2.0.

Hope that helps

Oh yes, I am familiar with what order to use products and prep (such as clay), I was basically just asking info on abrasiveness of the various products.

So scratch x is really less abrasive then #80?

if you use #80 and/or #83, and NXT as last step product you´ll be fine.
Noo need for the Deep Chrystal products!
Just remember to clean and clay the car throughly
