Re: #80 protection
Remember the 5 step method.
1. Wash
2. Remove Above Surface Contaminants
3. Paint Clean/Polish
4. Protection (Wax)
5. Maintain
#80 is only step 3
It's a paint cleaner/polish that offers no protection.
That's why you need to follow it with a wax in step 4

Well, it will help prevent some water spots/etching if you wash and re-apply often. It wont wash off like a polish would, but we're not talking a full coat of wax to protect from the elements.
Perhaps it should be asked what it is you are thinking of working on?2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

No wax/sealant on fresh paint!
M80 IS safe, however, on fresh paint.
After M80, I used M81, Hand Polish as a final step. It's safe both for body shop and fresh paint. It's not nearly as durable as a wax/sealant, but that's not an option on fresh paint.See the big picture, enjoy the details

I use use a pure polish (#3/#5/#7/#81/Deep Crystal #2) and reapply after every wash. My favorite for this is #5, been using it on fresh paint for almost 30 years. Decent protection for the timespan between washes, even in the winter, but then I don't let fresh paint stay dirty for long as I don't want contaminants to bond to it.Practical Perfectionist

Yes, I wrote the script and then others proofed it. I believe you're correct, that is the way I worded it in the video script.
