After removing the swirls in the two test sections, we applied some NXT Tech Wax, allowed it to dry and after removing it we had Jaimee drive the car out where we could see the results...
Then everyone is asked to move into a position to place the reflection of the sun down on the areas we worked on and the areas we didn't work on to really see the results in before and after.

Just a heads up to everyone who is ordering G-100's right now. I received mine in the mail on monday (1/16) with the rest of my order (some foam pads, etc) but they ARE indeed out of backing plates at the moment.
I called and spoke with George he said they do not have an estimated ship date for these yet so it may be a while.
Looks like ill be going out and getting a backing plate somewhere!

I think ill start with the M80 and move up to the M83 if its not getting the swirls out.
wish me luck! (not that i need it because mike showed us everything we needed to know!)

Ok so last weekend i went at it. Ive just been lazy and haven't posted up the pics... ive been too busy driving around in my shiny car!
Some of the "before" pics. I have an underground washing area at my apartment so the pics weren't the greatest.
Marring on the roof:
Trunk before:
Hood before:
Lets get started... wash it (with my new grit guard too! yay)
After drying completely... claybar!
Tape off all the black trim...
Then i did about 2-3 coats of polish depending on the swirl / cobweb swirl damage on each section of the car. This took a TON of time to do. Interestingly enough i didnt notice much difference in the way M80 and M83 cut the cobweb swirling... i will have to search some more on the forums for the answer to that. my G100 is my new best friend!!!
So fast forward even more, i did 1 coat of Meguiars Gold Class wax since i have so much i dont see the need to go out and buy NXT Tech wax just yet. Heres the results:
some chipping damage on my hood...
the trunk came out the best out of everthing IMO:
So there ya have it. Thanks again Mike!!!
