  • car cover to protect parked car outside

recently i purchased a 2005 Saab and it took over the garage spot and my 300z has to go outside. I want to know if there is a carcover i can get for reasonably price ($50 or so).

I have covercraft now but it leaves a layer of lint when i remove the cover (yes its an older cover and very heavy and bulky)

    I need a replacement
Prefer one that protects from rain

well i have a weathershield from covercraft and use it everyday I love it. Protects well from rain its not going to totally stop all rain especially not a heavy down pour that last all day some moisture does get through then but its gonna. I got this because compact light can be cleaned in standard washer/dryers. The moisture will get through if cover is exceptionally dirty no prob wash in the washer and dryer works great. As a preventinve to scrtatching and keep up it water repelentcy(think thats a word) I wash it about once a month. The down side not cheap I believe I paid 325 through megs and came with their logo and bag. For longer storage and not everyfay use i would get the weathershield HD it like haveing another under the weathershield virtually no mositure will get through. Another plus to the standard weatherdhield is how quick it dries. I have haf no marring but onlu put it on clean car. Any question feel free to ask. Heres some pics of mine. Hope i help a little bit.Greg

Yes, you can get a car cover for $50, but if you care at all about your 300Z you won't want it to touch that car.

Head over to http://www.carcoverworld.com/ and get the very best cover you can afford - your car deserves it. I have a Noah for our '92 Camaro (3 cars, 2 car garage) and it set me back about $190 but I love it. As long as the car is clean when covered, even though it still gets wet when it rains, it remains clean.

This is one thing I would not cut corners on.

I'd have to second the CoverCraft Weathershield. My Mach 1 Mustang stayed under one for nearly a year while living in an apartment before buying a house. It protected the car well, but will allow some moisture through during heavy or long rains. I believe I ordered it directly from www.covercraft.com.

Maybe the others will chime in about the covers but as a quick way to wash before puuting the cover on if too dirty for duster and qd you may wanna try some qew I cant live with out the stuff. I wrote a little how to around here somewere if you search qew you should find it. Just thought I would tell ya about it no matter what cover I like everyone else suggest a good one do not cover car dirty you are only asking for swirls. Hope that helps. Greg.
